Yes, that was the other issue that I started having :) In that particular
case, I'm pretty certain the driver is simply failing to allocate memory
properly, so it's not the EDID that is broken.

Thanks for clarifying that it shouldn't affect the boot resolution, I think
you mentioned that before and I misunderstood.

It's possible that this was the only problem I had that arose from that
issue, but it was definitely around that same time that the 19" 1280x1024
screen stopped showing a bootscreen as well.

I'm gonna try and get my hands on that stupid screen again so I can test
again and figure out what's going on ;)
