The source file list is the same at least and a quick grep for "#if" in
the sources doesn't seem to imply any kind of build host specific
limitations. The sources do use a lot of own macro-dependent
compilation, though, so I can't say for sure. But it should take only a
few minutes to write a little test program that converts HVIF to some
simple raw format (translators can't be used, of course).
