Showing the localized one will be fine in most cases.
We can also show it this way only for some key folders (app folder and
preferences), and show both names when these folders are put in list view.
We can also use an infobubble to show the real name.

But I don't think people play a lot with the files in these folders from
terminal, so does the real name matter that much ?

I'm more worried about folders. On windows/linux there are 'documents',
'download' 'music', 'picture' folders. These should be localized, or maybe
kept user-settable.
