Hm, I tend to disagree: If that's indeed debug output, it shouldn't be sent to stderr in the first place, as that's likely to make it appear in Terminal (sending the output to syslog would be better in this case). But, IMHO, these strings look like plain error messages, which are just part of a program's UI and should thus be localized. cheers, Oliver
