I have determined that I am able to go to the NYC maker fair. I looked up hotels and the cheapest hotel I can find seems to be around $120 dollars. I bet you can find one pretty cheap in the outskirts around NYC, but driving in NYC is kind of hellish. I do not want to go alone, but I am willing to share a hotel room, gas, and drive behind the wheel half the way there. I have a perfect driving record over 8 years. I have an inflatable bed for the floor so sharing a room with even 3 people is not a problem. What do you say guys? Chad, Anthony, Gabe, Jeff, Jeremy, Greg? Anyone else?
