Not sure about a speaker but one thing I'm finding works well are the Oakley bluetooth enabled glasses. The glasses have a bluetooth tranceiver that allows you to pair with any device and speaker outlets that don't obstruct the environmental noises as baddly as conventional bluetooth headsets or headsets in general. (speaker comes out of the side jackets) If the braillenote doesn't support A2DP or a good transmition protocol simple audio to bluetooth conversion dongles can be had for $60 or less. The glasses range around $299. As I mentioned they are Oakleys so they look good as well as function well. Since I'm a shades kinda guy these days anyway it's not intrusive. Hope that gives you one possible option. ----- Original Message ----- From: Matthew Brown To: gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, February 11, 2008 1:20 PM Subject: [gps-talkusers] Small Speaker for Braillenote GPS Hello all, First, let me introduce myself. Name is Matt from Brooklyn, NY. I recently got a Braillenote with GPS and have used it so far with small earphones but really don't like something in my ear while I'm traveling. I have been searching for a small speaker I can clip to either the Braillenote strap where the receiver is or to my jacket or backpack which will be near my ear but not in it. Every speaker I have found is in a pair and not small enough to accomplish this. Anyone have any suggestions? I look forward to talking with people on the list. Thanks, Matt Brown mattman1270@xxxxxxxxxxx
