Well done Alan! Of course its rubbish even I can see that but you had better
tell NASA that because its one of theirs and its not doing their credibility
any good! It's photos like this that make
me and others wonder about the whole thing.

You and I have a major problem here, laser beams versus a NASA photo(s),
there many others. This photo was, until quite recently, used in a
top-of-the-range astronomy
computer program which apparently was superior to 'Starry Night'. I cannot
quite remember
the name of the program but I think it was called 'Red Shft 3', perhaps your
brother may know of it.
