In addition, your thought experiment is flawed, because in it you would always see the same stars, depending upon your location, but in the heliocentric model you must see the entire hemisphere throughout the year. Hence your dot (the World) must constantly be changing orientation such as to look radially outwards from the ecliptic axis. You thus have rotation, not revolution, in the same way annually as you had daily.
