Dear Cheryl,
I've seen some of the refutations offered against moon hoax photos and they
do not hold water. Some of them are quite contrived. Geradus Bouw doesn't
have a lot choice but to accept them since its NASA that provides him with
much of his material.

I do not think that Bouw is anywhere near an expert on the photographs. For
example the 'rooster' tails kicked up by the Moon rovers shouldn't be
'rooster' tails they should be, as he says, parabolic curves. Because there
should be no atmosphere, the dust particles should take the same path coming
down as they do going up. The fact is when you look at the videos they are
'rooster' tails. These are caused by the presence of an atmosphere. The dust
is kicked up quickly, hangs in the air momentarily and then drops back
slowly, hence the 'rooster' tail - a fast, steep upward motion and a slow,
less steep downwards motion.
