Can one still not obtain from individual local managers of these
locations to place a cache? Does corporate have to be involved at all?
I have spoken to a few restaurant owners and some have had no problem
with the idea of a cache placed on their restaurant property. Perhaps
that is all that will be necessary to continue the series - not
depending on corporate blanket permission but dealing individually
with the local managers and owners.

Until we are told to specifically remove them, they can stay put. Like
the deal said, we no longer have permission to place caches there, they
didn't say that all previously placed caches must be removed. So, sit
tight if you have one of these caches.
As often happens with these kinds of sweet deals, when the lawyers in
the operations departments hear of something going on, they want in on
it. We have had deals messed up before at the packwood series of caches
and the st. peters parks department. I am sure that things will work
themselves out.
