Ok, I believe a have a stumper for most of us! Lets see who knows the
solution!

I want to use dedit (ia ver 8.3) to search and replace all path names
with a new path name. I want to use the command line so I can automate
several changes.

The problem is that the \ character is the separator for dedit and also
for the path. If I put it in quotes dedit still treats it like it's the
dedit separator and not the path.=20

Search string is

/opt/customer/displib/faceplates

Replace string is

/opt/tmpdir

Dedit -t/"/opt/customer/displib/faceplates"/"/opt/tmpdir"/
/opt/menus/mydisplay

=20

Any Ideas?=20
