Variables are created at system restart to control display of various
datum on display. FoxView connections are configured to include use
of such variables to control visibility. One controls display of
Units text. Another controls display of motor loads, etc.

The operator is provided with picks in the display bar to toggle
the individual variables. This allows for packing a great deal more
information on each display without overloading the operator.

Now a slight deviation, this custom app was installed by Foxboro and
started with a "go_" script in the /usr/fox/bin directory. In the
"old" days, the preferred method of starting custom apps was with
the /etc/fox/user_apps.dat facility. I don't think that exists on a
70 series station.

So, a) does the user_apps.dat function exist on 70 series stations?
and, b) if not, what is the preferred method of starting custom apps
        on an AW70 ?
