It only takes a minute to create a new account and give them the same
group membership as the old account. At first glance I thought you were
the more popular audio company with the same sounding name, but still,
if your a publicly traded company you have to adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley
guidelines. One of the guidelines is auditing/accountability, by
renaming an account you violate that.

Even if your just a mom and pop shop make it easy on yourself, grant all
permissions via group membership and give each individual a personal
account that they are 100% responsible for.

Subject: [ExchangeList] removing old user name from global address list

Greetings,

Here is the scenario. User1 has a mailbox and when user2 comes to the
job replacing her, all I did was renaming the active directory account
so automatically she can login with same permission. Now the problem is
when people send email in outlook, the cached name shows user2 ( user1).
I tried deleting the cache file and recreating a new one with no luck.
Old name is stuck somewhere in account.

Anyone knows how to remove it?

Thanks
