I would also say look into buying some study books.
I have the exchange resource kit (nothing as pricey at the win2k), admin
companion, and the sybex study guides for when I wrote the exam (224 &
someday 225), and sybex mastering exchange.
A suggestion, ask others about what they thought of the books, as well
as reading reviews. Maybe buy used ones on amazon etc. another good way
is some libraries carry them sign them out read them, if you like them
maybe buy them. Or some book stores let you flip through them and read
them, before you buy.

Finally the best method HANDS ON!
Buy a second computer for home used machince p-2 type or p-3 cheap like
$200
Install and configure exchange on it and play, play, play
The best way I think!

Hope it helps

Oh and of course read through all the forum posts on msexhange.org that
is free and very informative & helpful.

Probably one of the better places to get information is from a liitle
used resource
called Microsoft (www.microsoft.com)

Of course there is some brilliant information available at
http://www.MSExchange.org/

And there is that other little used place called the "local bookshop" or
"local
library"

And if that fails to get you the information you want, you could always
visit
the "local pub" - there you will find experts versed in anything that
you would
care to listen too!
