And thanks to all for the responses.  Answers and
input retrieved here have been invaluable.  I
appreciate your willingness to share.  

And back on the 'hi - all' email thread where people
told about themself.  

I'm a 7 year old from eastern tibet.  I spend 1/2 my
day tending the goats and 1/2 my day consulting to
fortune 500 IT shops.  :)
