http://www.MSExchange.org/ How can I assign Outlook Delegate rights such as 'Read Contacts,Tasks' from Active Directory Users and Computers? -Devon -----Original Message----- From: William T. You need to have a wokstation set up with the Windows 2000 admin tools, then you need to install the Exchange Administrative Tools from the Exchange 2000 install disks. After these two steps are complete, Start Active Directory Users and Computers. Next go the the View Menu and Select Advanced Features. Next selcet the User who's mailbox you want to delegate.Select the Exchange Advance Tab. Then Click on the Mailbox Rights button. You can then set the appropriate permissions on the mailbox. Right now I have to go to each client then click Tools, Options then Delegation to set their delegation. I want to do this from my desk as some computers are not readily available. _____________________ Devon Harding System Administrator Gilat Latin America 954-858-1600 dharding@xxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:dharding@xxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:dharding@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > This e-mail is intended for the above named addressee(s), and may contain information which is confidential or privileged.
