You mean these individual folders in the delegated mailbox ? If that's
what your after I don't believe that can be set in the Active Directory
Users & Computers. You have to do that from outlook. The active
directory users and computers can only give permissions to the whole
mailbox. It can not manage MAPI permissions.

How can I assign Outlook Delegate rights such as 'Read Contacts,Tasks'
from
Active Directory Users and Computers?

If by remote delegation you mean allow person X to send as or read user
Y's
maibox, then sure. You need to have a wokstation set up with the
Windows
2000 admin tools, then you need to install the Exchange Administrative
Tools
from the Exchange 2000 install disks.

After these two steps are complete, Start Active Directory Users and
Computers. Next go the the View Menu and Select Advanced Features. Next
selcet the User who's mailbox you want to delegate.Select the Exchange
Advance Tab. Then Click on the Mailbox Rights button. You can then set
the
appropriate permissions on the mailbox.

Is there any way, as an administrator, I can do remote delegation for
Outlook clients? Right now I have to go to each client then click
Tools,
Options then Delegation to set their delegation.

I want to do this from my desk as some computers are not readily
available.
