You can't do what you want to do. The system requirements are what the documentation says they are -- XP sp1 or Server 2003 (and probably Vista/Longhorn, but I haven't tested those with Outlook yet). I know, I know -- it's shocking that new versions of the operating systems have new features. But hey, that's just the way software works sometimes. :-P -----Original Message----- From: Sandy [mailto:sandy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, December 13, 2005 5:28 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RPC over HTTP Windows 2000 Server ? http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hi everyone... I've been trying to configure my MS Office Outlook 2003 to talk to a remote exchange server (a business broadband provider). Outlook is installed on my Windows 2000 Server. I believe the only way I can do this is by enabling RPC over HTTP. However, everywhere I seem to look, it tells me the requirements are Windows XP SP1 minimum. I Understand Windows 2003 Server has the capabilities too, but Windows 2000 Server doesnt. This surely cant be right. Can someone please help!
