Incremental Backups

I'm looking to update our backup strategy for Exchange. We currently do a
full database backup nightly. Team members have mentioned doing Incremental
Backups during the day.
I understand how that changes my recovery options. I've never been anywhere
that has done Incrememtal Backups during the day.
Has anyone done that? Or have something against that?
