Can you post what you have? It might be easier to do that. 

While we're at it, what are you using rpcping for?  What's the problem that
has you troubleshooting with that tool?

Can someone please give me an example of how to use the rpcping command?? I
have seen whole command structure but I am not 100% sure that I have mine
setup correctly.
