I would use the old fashioned methods of "Say with me" (choral speech) - 
or "I say and then you say" (The old "heder" method - "kamatz aleph - ah")
or using a little bit of a "beat" to the sentence.
The book "Jazz chants for children" by Carolyn Graham is excellent for 
simple, everyday speech in a light rap form.
