I don't think any of the '78-'88 El Caminos had a bumper jack. Mine has a scissors-like jack that fits into a hole in the frame rail near the wheel. My sister's 80 Cutlass had a bumper jack; I remember that well. The El Camino doesn't have the needed slots in the bumper. You did find an exceptionally nice Sprint. It's not a popular body style but it is very clean and unusual, and that counts for a lot. It doesn't hurt that it's in eye-pleasing colors.
