Don't worry about that. The next car I buy, IF I ever get to buy another
project, will be bought not built. It's simple economics. Let someone else
put the stupid money in the car and loose half of it or more because you
can't get the money back when you sell it. Never mind the labor you put in
(I make enough, but it all seems to be gone before I get it) if I added up
the time I have spent, at the rate I get paid, it would be scary.

The old guy I was talking about with the green truck at the car
show<http://www.myelcamino.net/cars/stc_dt_071911/pages/DSCN3406.htm>bought
it from a guy that was getting a divorce. Not what you want to hear,
but he is tweaking it as he goes. The PO put fiberglass fenders on it, did
all the work on the frame and painted it. Put in a 5 speed from an 80's car.
The 235 six has a 4" pipe welded to the manifold for Duals works great that
this owner put on. I think it even has disc brakes. He is going with an
aluminum radiator soon. We were talking about putting a fan clutch and
bigger fan in there if he has room. It's a 4 blade fixed pitch with not much
pitch at all now. no clutch. He gets 23 mpg with that old truck. Not bad!

They are never done. Spend time with your son while he is growing up, then
play with the car when he can help.
