same here. We had a high spot in the middle of the oak flooring so there are a lot of short pieces there. You don't notice it but we know its there.

The boxes are heavy! If yours are like mine in each box there will be a couple 3' lengths and the rest 6'. Remember to make random cuts to start your rows so you don't see a pattern. The first two adjoining rooms we did I had a lot of help, which was great, but we ended up installing 3 rows spaced one board apart with the same size starter board... so its a racing stripe. Not that anyone will notice, but I know it's there...
