Well, lessee here.  The Burb is gettin old (about 180k on it) but is gonna have to do for the foreseeable future.  It needs to have the new PS pump installed.  I think I'm gonna pay somebody to do that one.

Rufus (the Model A) is still in Doc Freud's garage in Washington but I hope that it'll soon be heading for a shop to get a dropped axle in front, juice brakes and a quick change rear end.  That's what Freud wants to do with it, so I'm happy to let him do it.

The Monte Carlo (aka the Race Car) is still being worked on:

I just made the aluminum plate and got it all smoothed out...now I need to drill the mounting holes and then paint it.  I'd hoped to put both Air/Fuel ratio gauges (I'm using 2 O2 sensors) in it, but it's not wide enough with the EGT display in place.  I also need to drill holes for the ignition box and electric fan switches.  It's progress, but not a lot in the last week.  A lotta other stuff has been going on (the weather's been part of it) that have kept me away from it.  I gotta re-focus and make sure that I get it ready for WoS in September.

Back to work.  Ohh...one of the things I've been working on is one of my "part-time" jobs, Web Elf for the Target 500 streamliner team's website.  We just did a big post on making dry-sump oil pans from medical-grade stainless steel:

Anyone else have thoughts of changing up the automotive family?

For a while, I've wanted to add the following vehicles to my car family:
1975 Caprice Classic convertible
1977 Caprice Classic sedan
1978 Caprice Classic coupe
1989 Caprice Classic 9C1
1987 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe

But, now ... the only vehicle I want to add to my family is a 1989 Caprice Classic (sedan or 9C1), to be the "summer" daily driver to my "winter warrior" 1979 Caprice Classic sedan.

Along with that, I've decided that, if the "right" '1989 CC (good shape, FI, cruise control, A/C, power, road trip worthy, etc.) comes along, I'll probably sell my 1972 MC.  Why?  Because my '72 MC is the only "expendable" MC I own ... the '76 is the year my parents had; the '79 is my first car; the '81 was my parents' car; and the '87 has sentimental reasons for the year....

But, even that plan could change, if my next checkup indicates I need more surgery ...and/or... I buy my own house....

In the meantime, my newest cars will have to do ... ~50 of them.  I bought 80 cars, ~30 of which I bought for my nephew, who is learning what each car is VERY quickly!

I bought these 2 for Dad:

And, these are mine:
