Well. There is a 70 elky in town for sale. Looked at it through the fence. Can see there is no engine and trans. Looks Ok. White some rust on the 1/4s etc from chipped paint. Price is Ok but I haven't really seen it.. Was toying with the idea... If I could get a decent price for my 84 I could buy the 70 and if in decent shape could make it decent looking etc and drop in a late truck engine and make it a daily driver. Gas mileage wouldn't really be any worse than a newer truck and possibly better due to less air to push.
