Wow ... a lot more changes going on that I had thought....!

Jim ... I wouldn't mind a '65 either. I probably don't want to know how much
he was asking for them, though...LOL!

Mary ... So, how'd you celebrate the Blazer's birthday? As for the Caprices
... you pretty much nailed my reasons. One "obscure" reason though ... the
Caprice Classic nameplate has NEVER been on front wheel drive...and I like
that. ;) LOL

The only other car I want ... a 2011 Dodge Charger, Toxic Orange with
tan/neutral interior trim. I wrote about it here...
http://www.motorgnomes.com/2011/03/charging-forth/

But, I can't exactly justify the expense of a new car ... especially given some
additional health issues, possibly more surgery, and/or purchasing a house....

Saw an ad somewhere - maybe the farm bureau paper that had a guy selling a
65 caprice 2 dr all restored, and another 2nd one that was in need of
restoration. I thought of Cort when I saw the ad. Those things quite often
had a big block in them which in those days made them often quite
surprising.. unless they came up against a 350 hp 327, 4 sp.

I think Cort is on to something with the Caprices. We had a string of
company wagons and they are huge, dependable and comfortable. I'd look for
one of them.

Mary, getting ready to celebrate Blazers 24th birthday next month. I'm
thinking I'll get his gas gauge fixed for the event <G>
