Thank you. I'm going to try to make an appointment tomorrow for an FAA medical exam. The medical certificate is also a student pilot certificate. I don't need it to fly, but I need it to fly solo, and there's no reason to spend money until I have it. Third-class certificate for someone under 40 like me is good for 60 months (5 years; FAA does everything by months).
