Good morning. Yesterday I called Don Breda, and he walked me through the steps to install and activate 10.7 with little trouble. I want to extend a big thanks for his help.

Hi Doug,

No problem at all.  Simply download from the web site at:

http://www.duxburysystems.com/dbt.asp

This is an .msi (Microsoft Installer) file which you simply
double click on to begin the installation process.

I'm afraid the Help file was written on the basis of someone
having a version supplied on CD, but they are in fact the
same product.

Hi this is Doug.  I checked the following link from the DBT
installation
help file, about simple installation, and was told I had to
insert a CD to
install.  I don't have such a CD.  Is it possible to install
without a CD?

DBT. To get to it,

This feature needs a data link to our database, as it
checks the status of
your license.

While I firmly believe that the data line problems have
been solved, it is
a good idea to check the status of the data line before
activating DBT.
