Hi this is Doug. I checked the following link from the DBT installation
help file, about simple installation, and was told I had to insert a CD to
install. I don't have such a CD. Is it possible to install without a CD?

There have been problems with the data cable coming into our facility. It
appears that this cable was fixed 2 days ago, and that data problems are
behind us.

For those of you who are concerned about our update pricing policy, it is

Before attempting to download a copy of DBT 10.7, Duxbury Systems urges
you to use the "Check for Updates" feature from withing DBT. To get to it,
launch DBT, click on the "Help Menu", then click on "check for updates".
This feature needs a data link to our database, as it checks the status of
your license.

While I firmly believe that the data line problems have been solved, it is
a good idea to check the status of the data line before activating DBT.
The best way to do this is to repeat the "Check for Updates" just before
activating.
