Hi Juliets and Other Duxusers:

Is there a particular sequence that I should be following when I am attempting to get "the printer ready to run?" Before I turn it on, I make sure that the paper is over the posts and that the clamps are down, holding it in place. I have my brf file open in Duxbury. Next, I turn on the embosser and wait until it tests its settings which it says are the default ones. It returns the carriage to the "home position," and then it says, "The printer is ready to run," and then something else I can't understand and that "out of paper." While I don't know exactly what they mean, I have gathered that "ff" = Form Feed," "lf = line feed," and "ol" = online or offline," I took a chance and pressed "ff" and the paper moved into the machine. However, it still said '"out of paper." I pressed the button again, moving the paper further into where it should have had a healthy amount of braille on it but it still says "out of paper." How do I fix this. It is a good thing that this thing is too heavy and awkward for my arms to lift because I can never throw it out the window. This is gittin' on my las nerve. Help Please! Before this Creek Indian African-American goes postal. Damn! There's no guns in the house. I'll have to find another way. I'll be watching for an answer first.
