Hi everyone -
HELP!
I had a silly thought last night about Vivienne's problem and wondered,
since the 'Big House' was involved if the mysterious Mr Wright could be
of enough importance to have had his death mentioned in a newspaper of
the day.
So I went through the WASL to the Gale Newspaper site and asked for, in
advanced search, Wright between 1910 and 1911. No references found . I
had the same result looking for 'death', for Yorkshire, and this
morning, Knaresborough and Ingleby Cross.
I get absolutely nothing from Gale.
Any thoughts about what has happened to this resource? Or am I making a
fundamental error.
I have used it with success before (about 6 months ago)
regards, John

I may have found a possible biological father for William Allan Wright HART who was born
in 1905 at Ingleby Cross, Yorkshire to unmarried Hannah Hart. Her "fiancé" was
supposedly killed in a horse riding accident before they could marry.
William Wright, age 32, died Apr-Jun qtr 1905 in Knaresborough district which I
think includes Ingleby Cross.
Please can one of you very helpful girls check him out in the 1891 and 1901 censuses to
see if he lived in a "big House" and if he was married or not? In which case
the story might be just that - a story.
Thanks heaps,
Vivienne
