So, for example, I use "\\ " often to insert line breaks in dokuwiki list
items, such as:
*One, first line\\ One, second line
It seems to me that this wouldn't be very intuitive to do otherwise, since
we'd never know when the new line was intentional and when unintentional. In
general, I figure that if I still have to learn syntax to do _some_ things,
I may as well use it for _all_ things.
However, I'm also always interested in the expansion possibilities of
dokuwiki. Would there be other practical uses for the hook you mention?
