[dokuwiki] Re: Line-break preservation in Wiki text

Personally, I have no problem at all using thee "\\ " or "\\" syntax for 
line breaks, as documented. One of my wikis ( 
http://cobs.rollerorgans.com/ ) has lots of historic song lyrics, and I just 
end the lines appropriately. That gives me _complete_ control without 
sacrificing normal wrapping for other text. Just like using (x)HTML and 
entering a <br /> to force a linebreak.

P.S. I also use "\\" in entities.local.conf for a char 0x00A0 (non-breaking 
space).
