What kind of card is it? Are you in Asio mode in Sonar? DOes your external card have asio drivers?

Hi list.I've just installed a new external sound card and it's set up fine for my midi keyboard.However, any soft synths that I load into sonar 7 producer are still playing on the computer's sound card.So, I'm hearing my Tyros 2 keyboard through the external, but my soft synths through the on board card.Sonar won't let me enable the external sound card even though it recognizes it.Any ideas?
