Hi, Barbie,

Good to see you here on our list. It was nice to meet you and your husband
last month at the NFB convention.

I believe that the Music Section of the Library of Congress offers some large
print music scores for loan. Call 1-800-424-8567.

When large print is not large enough or as an alternative to pages that are too
big to sit on the music stand, check out our latest product called The Lime
Lighter. The lime lighter allows people with low vision to read standard staff
notation with ease, comfort and clarity. You can magnify the music up to 10
times the original size and display it on Lime Lighter's 20-inch, flat-panel,
touch screen. Advance the music measure by measure or line by line with Lime
Lighter's pedal. Mark up your music by writing on the screen with the special
stylus included. Ships with music-scanning software.

Please forward the information above to any colleagues or clients who might be
interested to know about The Lime Lighter. Feel free to submit to any
newsletters, blogs, websites, etc., as appropriate.

BTW, this list, Ddots-l, tends to focus on discussions related to accessible
audio production while our GOODFEEL list generally discusses accessible music
notation. Of course, there is some natural cross-over. But anyone who is
interested is invited to join the GOODFEEL discussion list. Go to
http://www.dancingdots.com/main/listgoodfeel.htm and subscribe. Usually, the
GOODFEEL list is fairly low-traffic with high quality posts.

Hi listers,

This is a bit off topic so forgive me.

I use braille music so don’t know anything about where to get large print. A
mother of a partially sighted child asked me about where to get large print
music and I thought some of you might be able to give me some good suggestions.

Jacob is a new junior high school student who wants to play the trumpet. So he
is looking for beginning trumpet music preferably music that would match his
junior high music classes corriculum. Any ideas would be helpful.
