Hi, Sorry, everybody for causing confusion. I think I'm straight now; you only need one inserted instance of the TTS1, then you make all your MIDI tracks' input/outputs match the input/outputs of the TTS1 that you've added. You'll get the cool-sounding instruments without making your computer blow smoke because you added a new TTS1 for every single instrument. (I reeeealy know how to do this now, as I've spent this morning converting student composition files for an upcoming cocompetition.) Don't you select it from the track Pane or something? I thought you had to have a separate inserted DXI track for each instrument anyway? (Now I KNOW I'm missing something!) Gord ----- Original Message ----- From: Stephanie Pieck To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, April 04, 2006 7:43 AM Subject: [ddots-l] channel question I have been setting all my TTS1 tracks to Channel 1. Should I assign different channels for each individual track? If so, why is this? It's been working with everything using channel 1, but I could be missing something ... Stephanie Pieck
