[ddots-l] Re: another jaws8 bug

There is no need to load the driver. All you need is to edit the JFW ini file. It certainly worked for me. Make sure you have the exact name of your default soundcard, and follow the instructions in the technical bulletin to the letter.

When I followed the procedure (as I have for earlier versions of jaws), and upon reboot, there was no speech, and I got the jaws message "the driver eloq.jls could not be loaded". I sent a info request on this to jaws tech support, but, who knows when they'll get back to me.

Guess its back to good old jaws6.2 for a while.
