I haven't used Rapture that much to be honest. although there are some cool sounds in there. i actually have a Rapture sound in a Sonar Project and it's working fine. in fact, the only soft synth i'm having problems with is Dimention Pro.

Yeah i was using the 1.5 version until recently. But the problem is with certain sound samples with in the product is that you play these sounds, and after a while for some reason, an unhandled exception error crops up. It doesn't do it with all of them i'm happy to say, but when it does it to a certain sound sample which you want to use in a certain project, it can be thrustrating and anoying. , It did it to a drum loop in the drum loop list, and it also did it to 1 of the organ sounds. With the organ, i was able to use a different sound, as most of the organs in the dimention pro list sound the same to me, but the drum loop i specificly wanted in the project, so it was a real irritation when the unhandled exception errors started to appear frequently. At first, i thought it was sonar which was giving me greef a week or 2 ago. but when i listened to the last unhandled exception error on Sunday, it turned out it was Dimention Pro that was crashing. But i'll certainly have a look at the product key of the dimention pro packaging, and maybe try to re-register the product back to 1.10 as Bill suggested, but if it doesn't work, then i'm stuck. -----Original Message----- From: D!J!X! Either the downloadable update or the full version that came with x1? There's really no interface difference, just that they use flac files instead of waves for the samples. I know of a few people who are using it with no problem, the HSC set works fine for it as well. Have you guys tested that one? I'm not sure if the x3 version of it has changed the interface, but the 1.5 I'm speaking of has the same interface as 1.0/1.1/1.2. I ask because 1.0 users can upgrade to 1.5, since it is a downloadable update on the cw site. If I remember correctly, it fixes some windows 7 compatibilities under 64 bit DP. As far as I know, the serial numbers of the version of Dimension Pro we ship with SONAR 8.5 all have the format: CWDM1.10-######-###### Sorry If I am mistaken about exact version but the main point is that you should use the version of Dimension Pro that came with your original SONAR 8.5 DVD's.
