Indeed, I am one such user.

I do occasionally get these exception errors. I just avoid using those sounds
and carry on.

(Sonar 8.5, ct8.8.4, 64 bit versions of all, dp1.5).

Hi Bill, what about the 1.5 update? Either the downloadable update or the
full version that came with x1? There's really no interface difference, just
that they use flac files instead of waves for the samples. I know of a few
people who are using it with no problem, the HSC set works fine for it as
  well.
Have you guys tested that one? I'm not sure if the x3 version of it has
changed the interface, but the 1.5 I'm speaking of has the same interface as
1.0/1.1/1.2. I ask because 1.0 users can upgrade to 1.5, since it is a
downloadable update on the cw site. If I remember correctly, it fixes some
windows 7 compatibilities under 64 bit DP.

As far as I know, the serial numbers of the version of Dimension Pro we ship
with SONAR 8.5 all have the format:
  CWDM1.10-######-######

Sorry If I am mistaken about exact version but the main point is that you
should use the version of Dimension Pro that came with your original SONAR
  8.5 DVD's.

  Hi Bill.

Yes i am running Sonar version 8.5 with the caketalking version 8.8.

Unfortunately, when dancing dots shipped the product out to me last year, it
came with Dimention Pro version 1.2. Where would i get dimention pro version
1.10? can you point me in the right direction?

  Cheers,
  ND.

  Hello, Nick,

Are you running SONAR version 8.5 with CakeTalking? I can tell you for
certain that both our CakeTalking version 8.8 and CakeTalking version 8.5
scripts are designed to run only with version 1.10 of Dimension Pro. If you
have upgraded your Dimension Pro to more recent versions, you will encounter
problems as you have already seen.

Please refer to the recent thread on this list:
Warning about Installing X Series of SONAR on Machines where CakeTalking
  and SONAR 8.5 are Installed

  Regards,
  Bill

  Hi people.

Recently, i've started to get unhandled exception errors with certain
  programs in Dimention Pro.

For example, i loaded a drum groove in to 1 of my projects, and it seems to
work well for a couple of bars, before an unhandled exception error crops
and i have to restart the computer.
And before any one asks, i am using Dimention Pro version 1.5, 64 bit.

Can any one suggest any remodees, short of un-installing the thing and
  re-installing it again?

  Cheers.
