well, I'm using Asio drivers by the way and I have no problems with latency.
I am just using wmd drivers on my old PC and I haven't looked at the buffer
size there but I have it set to 512 if I remember correctly.

if you are using wdm drivers then you have to run the wave profiler after
any synth being installed.

I had to re install a bunch of stuff, when I hit the keyboard, it takes a
little time before I hear any sound with sound fonts, or dimension, or any soft
synth. I know there's an easy fix, but I just can't remember what it is.
Buffer size? Bit rate? I suppose it's a midi thing, but I just don't
know. Any help would be appreciated. Oh yes, I can record audio just fine, it's
just the soft synths that are giving me trouble.
