After a long process of elimination I have found the JPEG that is causing the trouble. It works fine apart from that. It was originally a BMP file which I converted to JPEG with !DPlingScan.
Nice to know the blame ends up with me 8-)It is still interesting to know what was special about the .bmp file? Did the JPEG display correctly on RISC OS?
