As for expecting the publisher to cope with Ovation Pro (which, for all its delights, is a very minor player and one which the publisher has probably never heard of) I despair that you could even make the suggestion. :o(

Actually they did seriously consider that (I didn't expect that either), as of today it looks like supplying a PDF may be good enough - obviously generating PDF is trivial.
