I don't remember which version of Ghost introduced the ability to move a Ghost image to a larger hard drive and recognise the remainder of the drive space but if your version doesn't include that feature I'd start over and forget the imaging method. XXCopy ( www.xxcopy.com/ ) , a freebie, will easily clone your old drive to the new without all the problems an image file generates. Of course to do that your old drive must be functional and you must be able to mount both drives in the same machine. Partitions on the 120 gig drive are also a big consideration. Anything over 8 gigs and the cluster size increases. Karenware.com has an app to determine the amount of slack and I'd sure take a look at that. There may be a BIOS problem too but I doubt you'll run into that untill you get to 137 gig drive. I don't recall ever seeing Ghost recommended as a method of moving an OS from a small drive to a larger one. Take a look at XXCopy ! simply type xxcopy C: D: /clone and go to lunch, (after, of course preparing the new drive.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Education is when you read the fine print.
