Both the router and the PC card use 802.11b protocol. The router/main PC
are on the 1st floor of my house & the secondary PC with the wireless card
is upstairs. I use Road Runner cable to connect to the internet & according
to their website, each time I connect I get a dynamic IP address.

The router can act as a DHCP server & the card in the PC upstairs is also
set up the same way. Both are set to use the same channel, 11.
