I've never heard that, nor would I have thought of it. It certainly is
an idea to keep in mind and add to the toolbox. Thanks

I've been working on a theory that she's getting an error msg, Access
Denied, because of one of her security tools. So far nothing has turned
up unless she finds it in an IE7.log file that she discovered. She
hasn't gotten back to me and apparently she's having mail problems. I'm
wondering now if the mail problem is because of corruption in IE6, and
consequently, Outlook Express. It may be all tied together ?

  My plan stems from this.....

"Low and behold, IE7 kept failing on install. The error? 0×05. What
    this error means is this:

  Download the binary
Turn off all AV or if you have Norton, uninstall it
Turn off all 3rd party firewalls or uninstall Zone Alarm
Edit the registry according to MSDN on the 0×05 error"

For all things there is a reason.............. we'll find it !
