Have a look at the settings file in side CDBurn and see if the scan is
set to yes.
You should see something like this at the end of the file
scanAcorn=no
scanSimtec=yes
scanAPDL=yes
scanSCSI=yes
scanCDFS=yes
scanRapIDE=yes
scanIyonix=yes
