Yes they are really good note takers. However, I wish companies would consider payment plans for those who are unable to make their state buy something for them like the U2 for example. Now. In regards to the future, it would be interesting what happens with the new BrailleNote, if Hw would
make a new BrailleNote.

Blessings,

Portia.

Hello All,
I have seen the newest software release from Hims, as I train people on the
u 2 and I also train people on the Bn.
the u 2 has drop box, excel viewer and a host of other features.
I do not understand, why it is that Hw can not find a way to install excel
viewer in their software.
If they want to truly compete with hims, they need to find a way to have
excel, drop box, and an even larger flash drive, as the u
2 has 32 gb of memory.
I am just letting you know the difference between the two notetakers.
Hth,

Hello. First of all, I think that if a new bn comes out, it will probably have a better processor, more storage space, and more ram. This seems to have happened with every model release so far, so I'm predicting that it will happen again. Also, I think that if hw is really concerned about competing with Hims, the new bn will have to have a built-in gps receiver
and accelerometer.
As for an operating system, I suppose that the next bn could still use Windows ce, but this wouldn't make much sense to me, since Windows CE is completely obsolete now. I think they would only be able to update it one or two more versions, which would still put the bn behind mainstream pdas. Personally, I think it would be cool if the new bn could run on some version of either Android or Linux. That way, us bn users would have a completely modern, open-source operating system. Of course, this would require KeySoft
to be completely re-written, but it has to happen at some point.

Hi. I was just thinking about that the apex is now 4 years old.
This suggests to me that the new bn is on its way. I would like to know your thoughts on it and what it should have etc. I also would like to know the programing side please. I mean design looking and operating system which I would like to know what you Joseph think about. Reply soon.
