Hi,
This is actually not necessary at all. You do not even need to back up documents. The BN always stores all of the stuff. Basically, it will keep all files, settings, and extensions. The OS will put all of that data in a secure area while the OS itself is updating.

I am wondering if I should backup all the OS folders and files when I update to the new system? I have my documents back-upped, but I would need to get a much larger USB drive to backup all the system files.
