To backup your things is personal. I never did. However when it crashed on me now I wish. Backup the things that are important to you and leave the others. They should survive the upgrade but if for some reason they don't you have not lost anything.

Hi,
This is actually not necessary at all. You do not even need to
back up documents. The BN always stores all of the stuff.
Basically, it will keep all files, settings, and extensions. The
OS will put all of that data in a secure area while the OS itself
is updating.

Subject: [BNU] Backing up the unit

Hello,
I am wondering if I should backup all the OS folders and files
when I
update to the new system? I have my documents back-upped, but I
would
need to get a much larger USB drive to backup all the system
files.
Thanks,
